Isabelle and Bryan’s mid Oregon coast elopement was such a special moment to be a part of. I worked with Isabelle and Bryan twice before and I was stoked that they chose me to document this very important day for them. Isabelle and Bryan chose me to do their engagement photos the previous fall at the pumpkin patch and when they bought their house in Eugene! But being able to capture their wedding day was the best moment I’ve shared with them by far!
A Magical Coastal Elopement
I knew after I met Isabelle & Bryan for the first time that we were going to be friends. But I had no idea how special they would become to me. So when they asked me to shoot their elopement, I was over the freaking moon with excitement! They chose to have their ceremony at sunrise, and even though we had to wake up at 3:30 am, it was 10000% worth it. The light was stunning and we had the beach all to ourselves. Their elopement was also officiated by one of their good friends, which was such a sweet moment to witness.
After they said I so, we ran around the beach just soaking it in (they were just MARRIED after all) and then went up to the parking lot to do some super fun portraits with Bryan’s vintage BMW that he restored. We then headed to Devil’s Churn for Bryan & Isabelle to say their vows privately, surrounded by tide pools where only the waves could hear them. Their Oregon elopement day truly felt straight out of a movie as the waves crashed around them. After all that magic, we all went out for breakfast and coffee, and safe to say, it was one of the best Tuesday mornings ever!
