This was such a beautiful anniversary session at Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park with Nancy and Santos! Nancy and Santos had officially tied the knot in 2020 at the Redwoods State Park, however they weren’t able to fully embrace the beauty around them and explore all that the park had to offer! So, they decided they wanted to relive their best day and do an anniversary session with me! They got all dressed up in their wedding attire and we trekked out into the Redwoods State Park to celebrate their anniversary and capture those dreamy adventurous photos they were always envisioning!

We had such a fun time adventuring around one of my favorite loop trails in the Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, and then we headed back into Oregon to the southern coast for sunset. It was a dream. The trail was long so we actually didn’t catch the full sunset and instead embraced the gorgeous blue hour on the Oregon coast! We stopped at a spot with the most gorgeous stretch of Southern Oregon Coast, The Samuel H Boardman Scenic Corridor.

Choose to do an Adventure Session after your Wedding Day!

I was so glad to be able to bring Nancy and Santos’ wedding photo dreams to life! Sometimes, your wedding day is more formal and you just aren’t able to capture everything you wanted, but that’s ok! One of my biggest tips to couples is to book an adventure session for the day after your wedding. A few other ideas you could do are to take photos in your wedding clothes on your honeymoon, or schedule a session for your anniversary like these two! These are all such great ideas if you are looking to capture those “elopement” feeling photos that combine the perfect blend of intimate moments, adventure and stunning locations.
