Each piece of your story is important; from the tiniest details to your biggest moments and feelings. From start to finish I am there to document your love story and preserve your memories exactly as you lived them.
There’s something so completely enchanting about the Redwoods. Larger than life trees, lush green ferns and mosses, and the peaceful quiet of the forest. All of these things and more contributed to L & P flying out from Pennsylvania for their summer Redwoods National Park elopement. When they first reached out, they described their day ending by frolicking around in the redwoods. We did, and it was the perfect ending to this sweet elopement.
After the incredible Meaghan of Black Fern Beauty worked her magic and I had taken detail shots and getting ready shots, L & P had their first look. They chose to do it under the awning of the incredible treehouse they had rented to stay in, close to where we’d go for their Redwoods elopement.
We then headed out to their ceremony spot and to meet up with their officiant. Due to a gate being closed that was supposed to be open, we had to alter the plan on the fly and find a spot within walking distance for their ceremony instead. After a bit of walking, we found the perfect spot framed by stunning redwood trees and ferns.
Their officiant, officially Officiant Jimmie, was the perfect wedding day presence and helped them have the most amazing, laughter and love filled ceremony.
After their ceremony, we got to frolick around in the woods and enjoy the trails in among the redwoods. Even after the light faded, we were able to get some incredible low light shots with lanterns that were so magical it was insane. It was a perfect ending to their Redwoods National Park elopement.
